Braga beat Portimonense 3-5 in the 27th round of the I Liga, moving closer to third place in the standings. The game had a perfect start for the visitors, who in less than three minutes took the lead with a goal created by Roger Fernandes and scored by Bruma. The minhotos overcame the absence of Ricardo Horta, unlocking a game in which Abel Ruíz could have avoided some problems. Moving into the second half, Banza scored a penalty and Bruma eliminated any possibility of a reaction, giving the game a rout character. So, the Algarve team tried to react, but the goals from Hildeberto Pereira and Fukui were not enough to change the result. Braga is now two points away from third place, occupied by FC Porto. Artur Jorge's team needs to maintain their good form to achieve European qualification. But, the competition is tough, and the minhotos need to keep winning to achieve their goals. And, with this victory, Braga is getting closer to their objective.
